Associated Computer Solutions operate a Support Centre for providing ERP system support for customers using the ACS-Embrace ERP system. The Outsource Support Centre System Administrator will be required to provide the technical and system administration functions on clients’ Embrace servers and environments, including both the Embrace ERP environment and the underlying operating systems.
The candidate will provide both the Embrace and Windows system administration functions in client environments that are supported through the Outsource Support Centre. The candidate will ensure that contracted Service Level Agreement targets regarding system administration are met.
Take overall responsibility for the good operating health of the Outsource client’s Embrace servers, ensuring adequate coverage by stand-in staff when required and will be required to improve operational systems and processes together with ensuring the implementation of best practices to enhance the system administration function provided by the Outsource Support Centre.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Extensive Windows system administration skills
5 Years or more experience on Embrace and Windows system administration
Technical skills relating to Universe database, Operating Systems (Windows Server experience required) and the Embrace environment
The ability to communicate and build relationships with a diverse team - Team Oriented
Ability to perform outside of normal business hours with diligence and effectiveness, either alone or in a team
Requires a high degree of communication and organisational skills
Ability to work in an accurate and organised manner to effectively manage job-related pressures and deadlines
Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with clients, peers, subordinates and management
