ACS-Embrace, based in Sandton, is looking to expand our team with driven individuals. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Marketing Assistant to support and improve how our company attracts and selects new hires and to assist our Marketing department. If you are familiar with recruiting strategies, including sourcing, screening and interviewing methods, we’d like to meet you.

 Job Function Summary

Talent Acquisition Coordinator responsibilities include providing administrative assistance to our recruiting team, crafting job descriptions and maintaining databases with candidate information. Ultimately, you will help keep our hiring process smooth and ensure we recruit and retain high-performing employees.

The Marketing Assistant responsibilities will incorporate a marketing related focus with regards to our talent acquisition process in particular, and the opportunity to provide general support of the Marketing department of our company in terms of both primary and administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Craft and update job descriptions
  • Prepare job offer letters
  • Conduct compensation and benefits analyses for various roles
  • Organise candidates’ data (e.g. resumes, assignments and contact details) for internal use
  • Design candidate experience surveys and analyse feedback
  • Perform background and reference checks
  • Coordinate interviews and contact applicants, as needed
  • Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire)
  • Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling trainings)
  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the Marketing department’s activities
  • Supporting the marketing team in organising various projects and creating new marketing content
  • Conducting market research and analysing customer rating reports & questionnaires
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media platforms
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships

 Minimum Requirements 

  • Work experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Assistant, Marketing Assistant or similar role
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Basic knowledge of labour legislation
  • Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, online analytics, Google AdWords, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology or relevant field
  • BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
