The increased drive globally for outsourced services is becoming more and more evident in our local market, with IT outsourcing becoming a focus area gaining increased attention. South Africa is now being mentioned in the same space as traditional low cost outsourcing leader India, with hosting solutions, data centres and cloud computing becoming more and more accessible.

Thousands of visitors attended the five days of Electra Mining Africa to see the latest innovations across the mining, manufacturing, industrial, electrical, power, transport and related industries. They were not disappointed! New products were launched and new technologies unveiled. ACS-Embrace showcased the future of ERP Solutions for all industries, demonstrating how Embrace, a local, end-to-end, rock solid package can help businesses drive revenues, grow market share and increase business performance.

A major community project that ACS-Embrace supports on an on-going basis is the Ikhwezilokusa ("bright morning star") Home and School, located in the Vaal Triangle, in De Deur, Meyerton. The home cares for psychologically disabled children, youths and adults, as well as children with learning problems and comprises a children’s home, adults home, special care centre and two schools. Approximately 200 individuals are assisted on a daily basis. Most of these people have been dumped or abandoned here. With a hands-on approach, ACS-Embrace continues to contribute significantly towards improving the Home on many levels.

It is with great pride that we congratulate two members of our Embrace Technology Team who graduated at WITS University yesterday.  Graduation is a momentous occasion, marking the end of one journey and the beginning of another.  We salute and applaud the incredible achievements of these two young men!
