Preventative or scheduled maintenance is an effective way to reduce costly, unplanned maintenance and shrink vehicle and equipment downtime. With diverse fleet assets, ranging from pickup trucks to heavy-duty equipment, it can be difficult to keep track of varying maintenance schedules.

Many rental companies first implement a financial system to run their business and eventually, to support the unique requirements of the rental industry, add or “bolt-on” a separate rental system. While this appears to be simpler and less costly than replacing the existing system with a new fully integrated one, the reality is this “bolt-on” creates significant ongoing problems and costs that never go away.

ACS-Embrace received a request from Ikhwezilokusa Home (a home for the profoundly disabled), to take a photograph of each and every resident, to then print and frame an A4 copy of each photo. These will then be hung on the wall, above each patient’s bed. We believed this project would make a significant difference in bringing a little bit of joy into the lives of every individual resident as the photos will help create a sense of belonging, of being “at home” and having “my own place”, apart from bringing some colour and upliftment into the dorms.
